Care, Between Everything - A Series for Mothers

We decided to kick off 2026 with our Mothers series because we understand the load that is carried throughout the year; and especially the weight that builds in the lead-up to the festive season.

It’s a kind of accumulation that often goes unnamed.
    The planning.
    The organising.
    The remembering.
The emotional holding of everyone and everything together.

    Much of it happens quietly.
    Often without pause.
    Often without recognition.

By the time January arrives, many mothers are already depleted. There is little left in reserve, even as the year asks for momentum, routines, and fresh starts. In that space, being told to “add self-care” can feel unrealistic; sometimes even out of touch. When time is already stretched thin, the idea of doing more can feel like another demand rather than a support.

This series was not created to add another item to the list.

Care, Between Everything is about acknowledging reality first. It recognises that care does not always come in long rituals or uninterrupted moments. For many mothers, that version of care simply doesn’t fit. And when care doesn’t fit, it’s often abandoned altogether.

We believe it doesn’t have to be that way.

Care can exist in the middle of what already exists.
In a minute at the basin.
In a product used slowly, not perfectly.
In a breath that doesn’t solve everything; just softens the edges.

These moments are small, but they are not insignificant. They are acts of regulation, grounding, and self-recognition. Over time, they accumulate into something steadier.

A supported mother creates a ripple.
    Into children.
    Into homes.
    Into communities.

When care is woven into daily life, rather than placed on a pedestal, it becomes sustainable. It becomes something that can be returned to, even on the busiest days.

Care, Between Everything is our ongoing series for mothers.

This series isn’t here to tell you how to do things better. It’s here to meet you where you are; to offer moments of care that fit into real life, not an idealised version of it.

If, along the way, it helps you feel a little more held, a little less alone, then it’s doing what it was meant to do.
